Lorraine 'Bunta' Patten was a Gunditjmara Elder unafraid to speak out against injustice or stand up for the underdog. From lobbyist to artist, she made an impact wherever she directed her passion. As a down-to-earth student of life, Aunty Bunta was a role model for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people alike. She taught us that, with perseverance and a big heart, we can all make a positive difference.
